Dance, Sucker.

This is my world right now.  Finalising images, printing, writing, websiting, planning.  I can't tell you how excited I am to be showing the Dance, Sucker. series! The series will be installed specifically for The Substation gallery site and  consisting of 11 photographs, two films, confetti, sparkles and audience participation.  Exciting huh?  But you'll have to wait until November to see the show :)

Art Love: Jason Lau @ Fashion as Art exhibition

My super talented photographer friend Jason Lau is exhibiting some of his fashion photography in the Fashion as Art show at Brunswick Street Gallery which opens Friday the 9th of September at 6pm.  Say hi to Jason at the opening for me, unfortunately I won't make it as I'll be on mum duty but I'll definitely be checking the show out before the 22nd.  Can't wait!

Exchange exhibition

The next group show I'm in is called Exchange which is showing at the Gatakers Artspace in Queensland.  I'm so excited to be involved, it has such a stellar group of artists!  I'll be sending up two of the girls from The Shoe Box Full of Dresses series.

The portfolio reviews at Ballarat International Foto Biennale were fantastic I can't recommend them enough!  It's a great opportunity to speak to people within the photography and art industry about your work.  I left with so many things to think about and do, filled with inspiration and motivation.  A positive and worthwhile experience!
