I had grand plans for all the elaborate photos I was going to take for this years Disposable Camera Project run by Colour Box Studio.  But my body decided to get sick and ground me, so it turned into a diary of my 24 hours instead.  My 20th and 21st of September went like this...

Chasing the Light - introduction to photography course

I'm very excited to be teaching another photography course at The Art Room which begins next month.  Chasing the Light is a 3 week course for beginners who would like to learn the basics of photography and how to create beautiful images without spending lots of money on camera equipment.
 
During the course you will learn where to find beautiful light, how to compose your images, what the camera settings mean, and how to edit your photographs.  We will have a hands-on photo shoot to put everything you have learned into practice.  Plus you'll be provided with many handy tips and tricks for taking great photographs.  All you need is yourself and your camera to get started!

BHB Conference Scholarship Bonanza

Big Hearted Business is holding their (un-) Conference in May which is all about how to do what you love, make money, save the world.  I'd love to go as I think it would give me the tools to promote the female Australian artists that are involved in onefourfour and This Wild Song further.  The theme for this years' conference is COURAGE-COURAGE, NUTS & BOLTS which sounds perfect for me!

onefourfour

I'm super excited to be curaating my first project and it's a big one!  It's called onefourfour and I've invited twelve artists to create art to twelve themes over twelve months.  The project will begin in January and the art works will be posted on the onefourfour blog. 

In the meantime I'll be revealing the participating artists over on the onefourfour facebook page...
