the first {art love} portrait!

 

I spent Tuesday morning with the lovely and the talented Emma de Clario shooting the first official {art love} portrait yay!  That's our it's a wrap photo above...

I had a so much fun hanging out with Emma and I'm loving how this project is turning out to be a collaboration with myself and the artist I'm photographing.  I'm already finding it so fulfilling and I've only just begun!  I have so much energy for this series, and so many ideas, and I'm totally bursting with fruit flavour (Reality Bites quote unquote).

I dropped the film off today and can't wait to check out the scans, but in the meantime I will be interviewing Emma about her work so stay tuned for her feature in the not too distant future.....

Love and smiles in Melbourne - Illy Photography

Here's a few of my favourite photographs from Bec and Mark's lovely autumn wedding in Melbourne.  The ceremony was held at St Jude's church in Lygon Street, Carlton, then we went to the gorgeous Melbourne University grounds to take some photographs of the wedding party.

I enjoyed myself but it was all a bit much for some of the guests!

Update: The 365(+1) Project

I've just given The 365(+1) Project page a BIG update with images from the past month phew!

I unfortunately discovered that some images have gone to digital heaven which is very disappointing since I'm so far into the project, but I'm continuing to shoot until christmas day 2011 as planned.  And I may be thinking about the type of project I'll do next year...

A saturated shade of winter - Illy Photography
